How do I know if the glasses fit me?
Keep these tips in mind when choosing which pair of Felix Grays would best suit you:
- Glasses should stay put on your nose.
- Don't let your eyebrows hide below or make contact with the frame.
- Make sure the bottom of the frame doesn't rest on your cheeks.
- Your pupils should be aligned near the center of your lenses.
What are the dimensions of the frames?
We encourage you to check out virtual try on software! on each frame page. We also suggest measuring your favorite pair of eyewear to find the best fit! If you're still having trouble, send us a photo at Style@shopfelixgray.com and we'll follow up with a personalized frame recommendation. My frames are a little out of shape. Can I fix them?
We designed Felix Grays with a malleable acetate frame, allowing your pair to mold to your unique fit over time. We source our frame material from Mazzucchelli acetate producers in Italy. Our frames are made out of cellulosic acetate which is predominately a plant-based material.
If your pair gets bent-out-of-shape through regular use, gentle adjusting at the temple arms of the frame will get your Felix Grays back into perfect shape! While the temple arms have an inner frame wire to maintain the integrity of the glasses, the nose bridge does not so please avoid adjustments to the bridge of the frames.
You can adjust them yourself or take them to an optical provider to perfectly fit your face since they have the proper instrumentation for adjustments.
What are the low bridge fit glasses?
We're extending the nose pads on our Low Bridge Fit frames to create a more comfortable fit for customers with a low nose bridge, wider face, and/or high cheekbones. A low nose bridge refers to the slope of the nose sitting level with or below the pupils. Low Bridge Fit glasses help minimize frames from sliding down the nose, pinching the nose, or resting on your cheekbones.
What is the return policy for the Low Bridge Fit collection?
Because we sell exclusively online, we offer a 30-day risk-free return policy after the delivery of your order. If you experience any irritation with our Low Bridge Fit collection, feel free to contact us at help@felixgray.com
What if the glasses I want are out of stock?
We work as hard as we can to keep our virtual shelves fully-stocked, though sometimes we do sell out of a popular frame or color. We encourage you to join our mailing list to be notified when the frame is back in stock.

Can I Use My HSA/FSA For Felix Gray Products?
Don't let your pre-tax health care expense dollars go to waste! Felix Gray glasses can be covered directly through your flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) since most providers reimburse for blue light filtering lenses, reading glasses, prescription glasses, and contact lenses.
You can use your HSA/FSA dollars to purchase eligible products on Felix Gray’s website using the Sika Health payment method. When you add HSA/FSA eligible products to your cart, you can select the “Sika | Pay with HSA/FSA” payment method and follow the instructions. No receipts, no reimbursements, no hassle.
Reach out to help@felixgray.com for any additional questions.
What happens if I have both HSA/FSA eligible items and ineligible items in my cart?
If you have a mixed basket of eligible and ineligible products, Sika Health makes the checkout process very easy. When you select the “Sika | Pay with HSA/FSA” payment method at checkout, your cart will automatically be split into an eligible and ineligible subtotal. You can then add the appropriate payment method for each subtotal. Sika Health will handle the rest!
What if I don't have enough money in my HSA/FSA account to cover my purchase amount?
Not to worry! Sika Health can check your available HSA/FSA balance, charge that amount, and allow you to provide a backup credit or debit card to handle the rest. Enter your card details like normal and follow the prompts from Sika Health.
What if I don’t have an HSA/FSA debit card? Can I still use Sika Health?
Yes! If you would like to redeem your HSA/FSA funds for a purchase on the Felix Gray website and you don’t have an HSA/FSA card, you can choose Sika and pay with a normal credit or debit card. As long as one of the items in your cart is eligible, you will receive an email from Sika Health. In this email will be everything you need to redeem your purchase for HSA/FSA dollars, including the proper receipt to submit to your HSA/FSA administrator.
My payment didn’t go through with Sika Health, why is that?
There are a few potential reasons why this may happen. It’s possible your HSA/FSA card has not yet been activated, or that you are attempting to purchase ineligible products with an HSA/FSA card. If you believe it is something other than that, please reach out to support@sikahealth.com.
Where can I download a detailed invoice statement?
You can reach out to us at help@felixgray.com with your order number and we're more then happy to generate an invoice for you.
What is the difference between single-vision and progressive lenses?
Single-vision lenses offer one correction throughout the entire lens (usually for distance, intermediate, or reading).
Progressive lenses offer multiple focal corrections in one lens, providing a seamless transition from distance correction on top to reading correction on bottom. If you have a progressive prescription, it will contain an ADD value.
Do you offer Progressive lenses?
We offer progressive glasses starting at $295. We do not currently offer bifocal lenses, but if your doctor has written this type of prescription for you (with an ADD power), we can fill it as progressives or single vision.
How do I obtain a prescription?
Make an appointment with your local optical provider, optometrist, or ophthalmologist for an eye exam. Make sure to request that they include your pupillary distance (PD) with the prescription.
How do I submit my prescription?
When you've chosen your Felix Gray frames, you can upload an image of your optical prescription during checkout. Alternatively, you can choose to send us your prescription at a later date or provide us with your doctors contact information to reach out to them directly.
If you choose to email us your prescription later, you will automatically receive an email prompting you to reply with your prescription attached.
How do I measure my pupillary distance?
Your pupillary distance (PD) is the measurement in millimeters between your pupils. It allows us to locate the optical center of your lenses so the prescription is correctly placed in the glasses. If your doctor didn't include this measurement with your prescription, the following options are available to you:
- Measure your pupillary distance using the PD tool via the link in your confirmation email.
- Call your doctor or optical provider to request your PD measurement.
- Visit an optical location to get your PD measured. This is either free or requires a small fee. Once you learn your PD, please email it to us at help@felixgray.com with your order number.
What are your prescription lenses made out of?
For all prescriptions orders, Felix Gray offers 1.67 High Index lenses. High Index lenses are thinner and lighter than Polycarbonate lenses, making them optically superior. This allows us to offer the highest quality prescription lenses to all of our customers at an affordable price.
What are amber glasses?
Our amber glasses are a more enhanced way to specifically filter the range of Blue Light that impacts melatonin secretion (440-500 nm wavelengths) to improve the quality of your rest. Our clinically proven amber lens acts as a natural sleep aid that minimizes color distortion despite the lens tint.
When should I wear my amber glasses?
Put on your amber glasses when you come home in the evening or when the sun goes down until you go to bed. The longer you wear them, the more effective they are in assisting you with a better night’s rest.
Are amber glasses available in prescription or readers?
Felix Gray amber glasses are available in non-prescription, prescription, and reader magnifications of +0.25, +0.5, +1.0, +1.5, +2.0, and +2.5. We can fill prescriptions with a spherical value (SPH) between +2.00 and -3.00 up to a -/+ 2.00 cylinder (CYL).
Will the amber glasses affect my color perception?
Felix Gray amber lenses were engineered to minimize color distortion despite the lens tint. This way, you don’t have to worry about looking through heavy yellow tinted lenses that drastically affect color perception.
What material are Felix Gray amber lenses made of?
Felix Grays amber lenses are made out of High Impact 1.56 lenses, which is a super lightweight and impact resistant material. It has a very high Abbe value and is optically superior to polycarbonate lenses. While the lens tint is more yellow than the Felix Gray proprietary clear lens, our amber lens specifically filters the range of Blue Light that is most disruptive to our natural sleep cycle in the 440 nm - 500 nm range.
What is the return policy for Amber glasses?
We offer a 30-day risk-free return policy after the delivery of your order! We have free shipping and returns. Feel free to email help@felixgray.com with any questions, concerns, or to initiate a return.

Who should use Felix Gray daily contacts?
Contact-wearers who regularly experience symptoms of Digital Eye Strain, particularly dry or irritated eyes and eye fatigue.
Felix Gray hopes to offer a better daily contact lens solution for the Felix Gray customer who may already wear daily contact lenses but still struggles with discomfort, dryness, or eye strain due to significant screen time.
What makes Felix Gray daily contact lenses unique?
Felix Gray daily contacts were specifically designed to help alleviate eye strain often associated with screen use and help to improve overall comfort for the daily wearer. Core product attributes include an aspheric lens design with ultra-thin optical center point, extra smooth beveled lens edges, water-rich lens material, and moisturizing saline solution with Hyaluronic Acid.
What values do Felix Gray daily contacts bring to the customer?
Made from 58% water, this super moist and breathable hydrophilic lens is suspended in a buffered saline solution boosted with soothing, hydrating Hyaluronic Acid for long-lasting comfort.
The graduated curve shape of this lens in tandem with an ultra-thin optical center point helps to improve visual acuity and adjustment rates while focusing on screens, consequently reducing eye strain.
Uniquely smooth and beveled lens edges allow for an even more comfortable fit and increased breathability while preventing ocular irritation that is commonly associated with average round or angled lens edges.
What prescription ranges are available for Felix Gray daily contacts?
Relax by Felix Gray is available for prescription powers of +1.00 through -5.00
How are Felix Gray daily contacts better for me than other contact lenses?
At Felix Gray, improving our Digital Wellness is our primary goal. Improving eye comfort and alleviating the symptoms of Digital Eye Strain associated with screen use is an important aspect of that goal. A common complaint of contact lens wearers is that many lenses easily dry out while wearing them which can cause irritation and discomfort. A common side-effect of screen time is a significantly reduced blink rate that can worsen eye dryness, and strained eye muscles that can lead to eye strain. Combine ill-fitting, poorly lubricated contact lenses with considerable screen time and you have a guaranteed recipe for discomfort.
Our affordable, daily contact lenses were specifically designed for optimal comfort and long-lasting moisture for wearers who clock significant screen time. They are meant to help alleviate dryness, prevent irritation, and provide relief from eye strain as a result of screen use.
What are Reset by Felix Gray Eye Drops?
Reset by Felix Gray is an eye drop specifically engineered to relieve dry eyes, a common side effect of staring at screens all day. The formulation has a perfect structural balance between water and gel.
The water allows for immediate dry eye relief by moisturizing and lubricating the eye. The water base allows for easy and comfortable placement into the eye. The gel allows for the solution to adhere to the eye, allowing for long-lasting relief and helping ease any underlying conditions causing the dry eye.
Anyone that experiences dry eyes while in front of their screen or elsewhere
How will these Reset Eye Drops benefit me?
Reset by Felix Gray is an eye drop specifically engineered to relieve dry eyes, a common side effect of staring at screens all day. Anyone who regularly or from time-to-time experiences dry eyes, particularly while in front of the screen. Our goal is to offer the best possible way of relieving dry eyes, which is a symptom of Digital Eye Strain. Eye drops will do a better job at providing that relief than simply wearing Blue Light glasses because dry eyes are primarily a function of reduced blink rate, which Blue Light glasses can’t cure. While someone’s blink rate will still be reduced, they can use eye drops to assist.
What differentiates Reset Eye Drops from other brands?
Reset by Felix Gray is an eye drop specifically engineered to relieve dry eyes, a common side effect of staring at screens all day. Most eye drops are either water or gel based products. Water-based provides short-acting relief but is not strong enough to adhere to the eye to be long-lasting. Gel based products adhere to the eye, but are often uncomfortable to put in given their heavy nature. Felix Gray’s product is a perfect structure balance of the two. It’s light enough to be comfortable to put and provide short acting relief, but strong enough to adhere to the eye so that relief can be sustained. Additionally, adhering to the eye for a longer period can help fix underlying dry eye issues because your eye is constantly being supported. Last, our product does not have tetrahydrozoline or any product that constricts blood flow to reduce redness. Any reduced redness is because of the actual eye relief that’s occurring!

What are the key ingredients for InSight by Felix Gray?
The high-quality ingredients in InSight by Felix Gray were carefully chosen and are comprised of powerful antioxidants and essential minerals with science-backed results.
-
- Astaxanthin: Naturally derived from green algae, this super-nutrient antioxidant demonstrates superior bioavailability, supports ocular circulation and eye comfort.
- Lutein & Zeaxanthin: Two powerful carotenoids, naturally derived from marigolds, have clinically proven anti-inflammatory properties and mimic the natural pigment of the macula.
- Bilberry Fruit Extract: One of the richest, most potent natural sources of anthocyanins, a powerful antioxidant, may help protect the eyes
from UV damage.
Following the research conducted in the Age-related Eye Disease Studies (AREDS), we hand-selected every ingredient and for good reason. InSight by Felix Gray is naturally-derived, 100% Vegan, Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free, Preservative-Free, Artificial Dye-Free, and Non-GMO.
What is the InSight supplement's return policy?
We offer a risk-free 30-day return policy with free shipping and returns. We hope you enjoy our products as much as we do but if you change your mind about the order, we will process a return for a full refund.
How should I take the supplements?
Take 1 serving (2 capsules) together in the AM or PM. The capsules can be taken on an empty stomach due to the delayed-release design.
Does InSight by Felix Gray use an AREDS or AREDS2 formula?
While we based our formulation mostly off of AREDS2, we actually made the decision to include Vitamin A as well (which is normally in AREDS1) and to include more Vitamin E rather than Zinc since Zinc is found in other daily vitamins or in our diet.
AREDS2 and AREDS are designed for macular health. We wanted to include vision comfort, which is why we included Astaxanthin (not found in either AREDS) and other ingredients meant to help the eye not found in AREDS (like carrot juice powder and bilberry fruit).
The long term vision support is based on AREDS with more Vitamin A, less Zinc, and other key ingredients like Bilberry and Carrot Juice Powder. The short term vision comfort is helped primarily by Astaxanthin, which is a powerful antioxidant that increases blood flow to the eye.
How long will it take to start seeing results?
Supporting your eye health and vision are what’s important in both the short and long term! While many people feel an immediate difference, some don’t and that’s okay. It may take 2-3 months for your body to reach a new equilibrium and begin to feel the benefits.
-
- Short-term Eye Comfort: Formulated to support your daily eye comfort, this supplement works to relieve symptoms of Digital Eye Strain caused by daily, extended digital device use.
- Long-term Eye & Vision Health: Logging endless hours on our screens has become the norm. InSight was designed to support your long-term retinal and macular health with ingredients clinically shown to have lasting benefits.
Is the InSight supplement product FSA / HSA eligible?
Generally, eye health supplements, nutritional supplements, and vitamins are used for general health and are not qualified HSA or FSA expenses. Daily vitamins and supplements are used to promote better health and well-being, but because there's no specific health condition that is helped by using them according to the FDA, they fall outside the accepted qualifications.
Is InSight by Felix Gray Vegan & Non-GMO?
The ingredients are naturally-derived, 100% Vegan, Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free, Preservative-Free, Artificial Dye-Free, and Non-GMO.
How big are the capsules?
Capsules are mid-size and easy to swallow. The capsule size is 00 and holds about 735 mg.
How and where should I store the InSight by Felix Gray supplements?
Keep your bottle in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Cabinets, pantries, and counters are recommended. Make sure to leave the bottle in a place that reminds you to take your ocular health supplement each day to stay on track.
What if I take more than the recommended dose?
You should only take the recommended serving size of two capsules per day. If you accidentally take more than the recommended dose, there shouldn’t be a toxicity concern but vitamin overdose can occur when taking more than the suggested serving size. We’d suggest checking in with your health provider in this event.
Can InSight be taken with prescription medication?

What reader magnifications are available?
In addition to our non-magnified, +.25 lenses, and prescription offerings, we also carry stock reader glasses available in +0.5, +1.0, +1.5, +2.0, and +2.5 power. If you have a reading Rx, we're able to fill any spherical value up to a +4.00 for single vision powers. Unfortunately, we do not offer bifocals at the moment.
Can anyone wear non-Rx?
Yes (with contact lenses, if needed)! All non-Rx Felix Gray glasses are currently worn by those who use contact lenses, reader magnification or do not need a prescription.
We also offer an optional +.25 magnified lens option to reduce stress on the ciliary muscle for those who are glued to their screens for hours at a time (think: analysts, designers, or coders). However, if you are glancing up, down, and around your environment/using multiple fields of vision throughout the day (taking notes, looking at multiple monitors, in meetings), unmagnified lenses may be the more comfortable way to go!
What are the key features to Felix Gray sunglasses?
Color enhancement
When Blue Light hits your eye it scatters more than any other color (fun fact: the scattering effect of Blue Light is the same reason the sky appears blue). This mutes the richness of the visual spectrum. Our sunglasses filter Blue Light, block 100% UVA/UVB, and enhance all colors to their truest form.
Polarization
When light reflects off surfaces, like water, it creates an intense amount of glare. Our polarized lens filters light, reduces glare, and increases outdoor readability on digital devices for vivid accuracy.
360-degree protection
Light hits more than just the front of the lens. That’s why our superhydrophobic backside AR (anti-reflective) coating reduces indirect light from reflecting back into your eyes.
What are polarized lenses?
Light waves from the sun or light bulbs reflect in all directions, which can create an intense amount of glare. Polarized lenses help eliminate the scattering of light and only allow light to travel in one direction, which reduces glare. Our thin polarized lens increases outdoor readability on digital devices and diminishes distortion for optical clarity.
How do Felix Gray polarized lenses compare to standard tinted lenses?
Light moves in many directions and can emit vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. Tinted sunglasses decrease light intensity, but in doing so cause colors to appear dull and muted. In fact, tinted lenses don’t increase color richness or eliminate glare, and only disturb vertical and horizontal light. Felix Gray’s polarized sunglasses, on the other hand, go an extra step further. Our lenses remove glare and distortion by only allowing vertical light through the lens. Our thin polarized lenses improve optical clarity for an overall heightened visual experience.
Do Felix Gray sunglasses offer UV protection?
Yes! Our sunglasses block 100% UVA/UVB light. According to The Vision Council, the sun emits UVA, UVB, and UVC. The Earth’s atmosphere absorbs UVC rays, but UVB rays are not fully blocked and can still burn the eyes and skin. The most harmful rays (according to the World Health Organization) are UVA rays, which are not blocked by the atmosphere and are responsible for the most damage to vision health.
How should I care for my sunglasses?
We always recommend keeping your sunglasses in the Felix Gray hard case to avoid any damage. The lenses are high-quality CR-39, which is a plastic polymer commonly used when manufacturing eyeglass lenses. We developed a proprietary lens technology (that’s engineered and manufactured in the U.S.) that contains internal Blue Light filters, premium anti-reflective coatings, and 100% UV protection.
We recommend using the microfiber cloth you received with your sunglasses for cleaning any smudge, fingerprint, or dirt from the lens. Using lotion-free soap or dishwashing liquid with water works as well! We don’t recommend using chemical-based cleaning materials or fibers since they may scratch or damage the lens.
If your sunglasses accidentally get splashed with water, don’t worry! Our sunglasses can get wet, but we recommend rinsing with tap water after being exposed to saltwater or chlorine.
What is the return/exchange policy for sunglasses?
We offer a 30-day risk-free return policy after the delivery of your order with free shipping and returns. Feel free to email a photo of yourself to style@felixgray.com for personal stylist recommendations.

What lens offerings are available for kids glasses?
Our kids’ clear glasses come standard with polycarbonate lenses which are lightweight and impact resistant. Polycarbonate lenses are recommended for adolescent use since they are the most impact-resistant and safe lens option for children. The polycarbonate lens includes an Anti-Reflective coating in addition to a scratch-resistant coating that is applied to the optical surface of the lens. We offer kids glasses in single vision prescription, sleep prescription, and non-prescription lenses for ages 4-8 (small) and 9-13 (large).
Our kids’ amber glasses are made of High Impact 1.56 lenses, which are also lightweight and impact resistant. While the lens tint is more yellow than the Felix Gray proprietary clear lens, our amber lens specifically filters the range of Blue Light that is most disruptive to our natural sleep cycle in the 440 nm - 500 nm range. They are clinically proven to act as a natural sleep aid while minimizes color distortion. A recent study found when participants wore our amber lenses, they had an increase in melatonin levels, less awakening during sleep, and evidence of improved cognition compared to when they wore dummy lenses.
What is your return policy for kids glasses?
We offer a 30-day risk-free return policy after the delivery of your order! We have free shipping and returns in case your child prefers a different frame fit or color. Feel free to email help@felixgray.com with any questions, concerns, or to initiate a return.
What information is needed to place a kids prescription glasses order?
In order for us to process a kids glasses prescription order, we’ll need to know the frame style, color, size (kids small or large), an up-to-date copy of the child’s prescription, and child’s PD (pupillary distance) measurement.
If the prescription does not contain a PD measurement, you can use our online PD tool post-purchase for us to measure the distance between your child’s pupils. It allows us to locate the optical center of the lenses so the prescription is correctly placed in the glasses.
Will my vision insurance cover kids glasses?
Yes! We don't work directly in-network with any insurance providers, however, our glasses are reimbursable through most vision insurers. If your vision plan covers prescription glasses then Felix Grays should be reimbursable. Feel free to email us at help@shopfelixgray.com and we can instruct you on how to fill out an out-of-network claim for reimbursement of the frames.
Felix Gray accepts FSA and HSA dollars for all prescription eyewear purchases as long as your card is affiliated with a major credit card provider.
Blue Light exposure
Emitted by the light from our screens, Blue Light has the highest energy wavelengths on the visible light spectrum. Similar to how UV-light overexposure harms our skin, Blue-Light overexposure may lead to eye discomfort and irritation (think: eye strain, dry eyes, eye fatigue, blurred vision, and headaches). Blue Light may also suppresses melatonin secretion - the neurotransmitter that tells our minds and bodies to power off at night - which is why it could be harder to fall asleep after spending hours in front of our screens every day.
That’s where we come in! Felix Gray’s virtually clear lenses are designed to filter Blue Light - specifically, the highest energy wavelengths in the 380-440 nm range. Still interested in learning more?
Do Felix Grays reduce glare?
Glare is emitted from many sources of light, including digital screens such as desktop monitors, laptop screens, phone screens, tablets, and TVs. It is a common and often overlooked culprit of Digital Eye Strain. Symptoms of DES (also known as Computer Vision Syndrome), which could include eye strain, dry eyes, blurred vision, and headaches.
Our lenses have a premium anti-glare coating to eliminate 99% of glare, which optimizes our visual acuity.
Glare can be a particularly distracting and straining problem at night. It’s one of the reasons looking at screens in dark settings is even harder on the eye (helpful tip: keep lights on when you’re doing work in front of your computer! By doing so, your environment is better lit and the effects of glare are less intense). Because our lenses eliminate 99% of glare, our glasses may also assist with driving at night when the glare from other cars and surrounding lights are intensified.
Ultimately, Felix Gray’s anti-glare coating aims to provide sharper optics and relaxed eyes. We are dedicated to making people’s lives happier in front of the screen!
Why is staring at screens bad for me?
Humans are not meant to stare at digital screens (whether laptops, monitors, phones, tablets, or TVs) all day long. Our eyes are at rest when we’re looking 20 feet away. In front of our computer, though, we're staring 18-24 inches away for long periods of time. This could overwork the ciliary muscle in the back of our eye, which is constantly spasming back and forth to adjust to the close viewing.
As a result, many ophthalmologists, optometrists, and researchers point to the potential negative effects that computer screens could have on our vision and health. This includes Digital Eye Strain (also known as Computer Vision Syndrome) - which may encompasses a variety of symptoms like dry eyes, headaches, blurred vision, eye fatigue, and neck and back pain. Felix Gray lenses are specially designed to filter 50% of all and almost 90% of the most impactful ranges of Blue Light, while eliminating 99% of glare to help combat these negative and uncomfortable effects.
What makes Felix Gray different from their competition?
There are several blue light filtering solutions, but they’re not all created equal. Generally, clear blue light filtering lenses use a coating or what is known as a UV 400 or UV 420 lens. Both these lenses filter light particularly from 400-420nm. However, Felix Gray filters over 50% of the entire range and almost 90% of the most impactful wavelengths (380 - 440nm). Additionally, digital devices emit Blue Light in the most abundance at 455nm. Competitors filter ~2% at this nanometer, Felix Gray filters ~30%.
The reason we’re more effective is the way our proprietary lens filters Blue Light. We embed a naturally occurring blue light filtering ocular pigment into our lens. This makes it the perfect balance between a virtually clear and effective solution. It also has the added benefit of blocking UV rays as well! We also apply a premium AR coating, to block ~100% of glare. Blue Light and glare are two massive reasons for symptoms of Digital Eye Strain, which may include eye fatigue, headaches, dry eyes, and blurry vision.
We believe that Felix Gray lenses are the perfect balance between a virtually clear, beautiful lens and an effective Blue Light filtering solution. We did the research so you don’t have to! Check out our lens technology pages for additional information.
Nope, there aren't negative side effects!
Our eyes never evolved to stare at screens all day, so our Blue Light filtering lenses are only doing your eyes a favor and allowing for more comfortable and productive screen time. In fact, if you’re wearing non-magnified lenses, then you’re good to wear your Felix Grays both in and out of office settings!
However, if you decided on magnification (whether +.25 or a reader lens), then we recommend only using your glasses in close distance viewing. Regardless of magnification, though, your eyes will not become dependent on the positive effects of your Felix Grays!
Do I need magnification?
Magnification is definitely not for everyone. Most of us are in meetings or talking with a colleague intermittently throughout the day, giving our eyes temporary breaks from the screen. If this sounds like you, non-magnified lenses may be best for you.
But, if you’re glued to your screen and find yourself hunched over and squinting, then it may help. The optional +.25 magnification helps your eyes’ ciliary muscles work less when spending hours on end glued to your screen (think: coders, analysts, designers).
The downside to the magnification is that if you interact with your environment and keep your glasses on, they could potentially cause some otherwise unprecedented irritation and disorientation (some customers do not experience this, though).
Still not sure? Send us a note at help@shopfelixgray.com
How do I clean my lenses?
The microfiber cloth should be sufficient for cleaning any smudges or dirt from the lenses. Using lotion-free soap/dishwashing liquid and water with a microfiber/lint-free towel works as well!
We do NOT recommend using hot water or any chemical-based cleaners on the lenses, and be sure to NOT leave your Felix Grays in the car, on top of a heater, or in an enclosed, unvented space for extended amounts of time. Heat and chemical reactions (from alcohol-based cleaning solutions, for example) can affect the AR coating.
Hairspray can also damage the integrity of the lenses' AR coating, so we suggest taking your glasses off when applying hairspray and waiting for it to fully dry before your lenses come into contact with your hair.
Do Felix Grays have a warranty?
All Felix Gray lenses come standard with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty includes defects in materials, workmanship, coatings, and cracks. Manufacturing defects do not include scratched lenses, normal wear and tear, improper cleaning, dislodged lenses, or exposure to excessive heat.
